Blade Runner poster
Creative Quarterly 66 Runner-Up in Graphic Design
For this project, I was tasked to create a film festival poster for the movie "Blade Runner." A key theme in this piece of media is false humanity in the form of androids, which are described as being "more human than human."
To fully pay homage to the film's sci-fi, futuristic setting, I created a scene on a tall skyscraper's digital screen. The type is hand-manipulated to create a glitchy, warped effect, as though the screen is broken, fitting for a dystopian film. A reflective eye peers out from behind the text, an ever-present reminder of humanity's greatest creation.
